It really depends on what you want to do with pluckeye. There is many different things you can do with it, different configurations you can use, different rules etc. If the instructions from the OP seem too overwhelming, then start slower, just download pluckeye, follow the instructions from the pluckeye manual https://docs.pluckeye.net/home But please don't not try pluckeye because you think it sounds too complicated and you're overwhelmed by it. Because in my opinion pluckeye is by far the best filter out there. It is a filter that you need to learn how to use it, but once you learn how to use it, you realise it is much better than you ever expected. As I said there is many different things you can do with pluckeye. I don't know how to do everything with it. Pluckeye improves all the time. So new rules, features are created etc, for better blocking and convenience for the user.
great thanks a lot!!! actually yesterday i did just that, went to their website and read shit for an hour there.ima do the same later today too.op post was overwhelming it's great that you understood it from what i was trying to say! and also the "But please don't not try pluckeye because you think it sounds too complicated and you're overwhelmed by it" is so true lol! for rn ive downloaded the software like i said and im gonna read a lot on their website. all i want is block porn but yeah ima keep on reading and learning the software until ill feel its help! thanks again!
No problem. I have tried multiple different filters, blocking configurations over the years, and nothing I have tried has come close to pluckeye. Pluckeye offers by far the most thorough blocks and the most convenience of anything I have ever come across. It is also constantly advancing, so work being done on it to improve it. Yeah just take it slow with pluckeye, and learn how to use it. I found it overwhelming and difficult to use at first. But now for the most part it is really easy to me. But as I said it can do so much, and is always constantly advancing, that there is always something new to learn when you use pluckeye.
yeah man thanks.now im reminded of why ive deleted pluckeye the previous time. like my home page is my youtube subscriptions and now all of a sudden it blocks it temporarly until refreshed then its all good i didnt do shit but put the timer to 1 seconds as they suggest but it was yesterday now all of i sudden i get this blocked message this shit freaks tf out of me cuz i know pluckeye DONT fuck around.if i do something wrong i can say goodbye to pages i DO wanna surf in or even to my entire internet
Hi, firstly thanks for the work youve put into this thread @sinner76. Ive noticed however that im no longer able to get into Steam. Im assuming plucky has blocked it. How would i allow access again? Thanks
Try to access Steam. Then right after you do this enter this into the command line pluck verdicts Then look through the verdicts to see if you can see the name of the program plucky is blocking that is not allowing you to access steam. Then if you find it enter this into the command line pluck + allow program thenameoftheprogram.exe Or you can even allow the exact pathway of the program.
I'm desperate, someone please help me. Is there a way to block Google Hangouts or Google Chat by any means possible? (or even use a delay option to load them?) I've become addicted to sexting and chatting to people on Google Chat and I want the site to be blocked off forever.
I want Google Chat to be permanently blocked from my system. So that I cannot allow it again on the command prompt. Or is there a way to induce a waiting period of 1 hour before I can access Google Chat?
If you block google chat and then later decide to unblock it, you will need to wait your delay time before it unblocks. But you can also block it again before it unblocks, so that it never unblocks. So for example say your delay is 24 hours, and you enter into the command line pluck + block example.com then later type pluck - block example.com you will then need to wait 24 hours before example.com unblocks. But if you change your mind before the 24 hours pass, and then enter into the command line pluck + block example.com example.com won't unblock.
How do I set my delay to 24 hours? Is there a pluck command to set the delay period? Right now, my delay seems to be set to 0.
pluckeye doesnt seem to work on chrome incognito what can i do? it doesnt flee a word like it does on normal mode plus can i do different delays for different sites and words?im aware of the different delays for different times of the day but im looking for a different thing
Enter this into the command line if you want to allow incognito mode pluck + okincognito and yes you can have different delays for different sites, different features etc. So say for example your main delay is 2 days, and you wanted a delay of one day for example.com. You would enter this into the command line pluck delay 1d example.com this will give example.com a delay of one day. But if your main delay is 2 days it will take 2 days until delay1d example.com goes through.
@skaterdrew thanks!so say i wanna cancel if afterwards how do i do that? pluck allow he example site(it wont let me type the url and post the comment smh) ? and my incognito is working fine i just dont understand why the flee words dont work there
im new to pluckeye all i did is reading a lot in the website and set a delay and do pluck + deny few sites
