i remember back in time i once also dreamed of prestige
and respect one of those old school occupations supposed
to be giving you, plus good living and a nice house,
is it an oblivious dream of boomers from 50s?
things are shifting, the charming bubble of american dream
has burst perhaps even before the internet, but it was
easier to keep it up and going as long as life was good
and you could be living quite obliviously in your little bubble.
, you watched tv news and read some newspapers and you had
your choices validated, it was paradigm of thinking at the time.

i guess to many here not much of it is anything new,
but i would say getting into addictions of any kind,
has roots in deeper underlying problems that are
not always straightforward to explain or dissect,
hope this helps get a bit of perspective without
driving people into black pill mode.
