I'm 33, consistent masturbator and porn addict since I was 10, my first exposure was around 7 or 8.
It's really affecting my marriage, my wife knows about my addiction and is as ashamed and disgusted about it as I am. I've done nofaps before but don't make it much longer then a week. Then I break down and masturbate without porn and eventually I'm back to square one.

My wife is supportive of my recovery and for now we've reached an agreement of me not masturbating to porn. I can't do it. I need help.

I'm willing to do whatever is necessary to fix this issue, I'm not even interested in actual sex anymore cos it's too much effort for an orgasm! My wife feels neglected as a result obviously...

I'm interested in support groups and collaborations. I've begun to read the book that I received upon registration.

I look forward to working with all of you!

Listen to one or 2 episodes each day.

Treat reboot not as a choice but as a diploma. School starts today, and ends this year end. Pass or failure is wholely up to you, like any other student. Continuation to year 2 is also up to you.

    Let's do it!

  4. It's very unselfish of you to wanna quit porn and masturbate to save your marriage, way to go man!, and that your wife if supportive is a big plus as well. She's definitely a keeper, because some other women might have hit the big drum and divorced you.

It's great that you have begin reading books and by reading you'll keep your brain distracted from porn. Keep doing stuff that you like to do on your own or with your wife to get as distracted as possible during the day.

Don't let your brain decide what to do or not, because the only thing it wants is to watch porn and masturbate because it wants the dopamine, which it will get from watching porn and masturbate until orgasm. Keep reading those books of yours as often as possible and your brain will begin to rewire itself from enjoying porn to enjoy books, which is a much healthier way for it.

As soon as you get urges or by mistake sees a trigger, get yourself a book and start to read and when you feel that the urge has become more controllable you can stop reading and do something else. That's a great suggestion from my own experience. Hopefully you will find in the future more things that you are able to distract your urges with, because in the long run, reading books all the time might be a little repetitive?

I wish both you and your wife the best of luck and that you are able to break free from this addiction, so you and your wife can live a happy life together, without shity addictions.
