"Not so new" newbie here

Hey there folks,

I am a 28 year old guy with a christian worldview.

I first got introduced to porn at around 14 years old and struggled with it for about 8 years. Finally found long term success at age 22 when I married and managed to stay clean for 3 years. Then life struck me a painful blow and I relapsed slowly but surely from once every few months, to once a month, over the course of 3 years to where I am currently struggling to break the habit for more than 2 weeks at a time.

Porn has caused me a lot of damage over time, cripled my self-esteem and distorted the way I see myself and other people. It has negatively affected my marriage and weakened intinacy during sex. It makes me into a selfish person without self control and I don't want to be that guy.

I have always battled the urges and desires and have many success and defeat stories. I want to ultimately stop porn because it does not fit into my belief system that calls me to love and honour all people.

Officially started my reboot 13 days ago, current streak: 4 days

I am excited to join this community and some day help others to find success as well. The need for this type of freedom is MASSIVE!
