I have competed 1 day of nofap. I did most of healthy habits I normally do and as a result was able to abstain from pmo for a whole day. Now that I've completed that challenge I will advance into the next level for me which is 3 day nofap challenge which is what I'm currently in.

I've done something recently that's really really made it alot easier for me which I probably done along time ago, which is change my environment. I moved all my clothes, pillows, blanket, everything, to the outside area of my house, and now I just live there instead of my room. I took everything I needed outside of my room and locked myself out. And honestly its sooo much nicer like I actually enjoy it way more in the outside area because it feels much more serene which puts me in a completely different emotional state. The triggers and cues didn't even come up yesterday because I removed them all along with changing my environment. My phone got destroyed, so I only have my computer which is good because I can still do everything I could on my phone without the triggers. Whenever I need to use the bathroom I enter from the back door of the bathroom instead of into my house and into the bathroom because entering from my house I fall more into distraction.

Another big thing I'm doing is I installed the porn blocker block-site which is really good because it works in incognito mode with a password and has a lot of customizability. I let my mom come up with a password me for me.

I also got rid of all my main triggers which was really just social media and obscene content and I bought the accountability group subscription in nofap.

But these are just things to make it easier to build the healthy habits that lead to a healthier lifestyle that is porn free. The habits I'm trying to practice consistently, are:
    1. water fasting for 12-15 hours every day
    2. fasting without food or water for 12-15 hours Mondays and Thursdays
    3. Praying 5 times a day
    4. Practicing mindfulness in whatever I do
    5. Taking cold shower every morning
    6. Exercising every morning

I think that's really it. I think this what works for me. I think becoming porn free is just about living a healthier daily lifestyle by building in new habits/practices/activities that you stick to and making it easy and fun for you to do those things and eventually the need for pmo just goes away because you've put things in place of it.

Still though, I may get compulsive, intrusive, thoughts that might bring me back into the state, so I wanted to ask you guys, how should I deal with compulsive/intrusive thoughts, is there a certain way I should react to them or do I react at all? Do I just notice them and revert my attention back to the present moment like in meditation?
