    Hi Everyone,

First of all, it feels great to be here in noFap :). I am kinda new here, so wanted to know if Nocturnal Emissions/NightFall is considered as a streak breaker for the reboot process ? The act is usually accompanied by erotic dreams, should this be considered as a reason to reset the counter ?

Please do pour in all your thoughts as well to support your answer and also tips to avoid this if possible.

    Thanks,
    Mr.Imperfect

No, a wet dream is not considered a relapse by the vast majority of people on NoFap, because it's not in our control.

I only had two wet dreams before, so I can't give too much information on how to avoid them. I can, however, give information on what caused the two wet dreams I had:

First thing was, that I fantasized before I went to bed. I was very aroused, but did not touch my dick at all. This ended in a bloody mess in the middle of the night. Second thing is, that I had to pee badly. So maybe drinking right before falling asleep should be avoided as well. There are certainly a lot more tips out there, you might wanna try them out at some point.

Bottom line is: Don't stress about it. Wet dreams are normal and often can't be avoided. Just let nature take its course and be aware of the chaser effect. It is highly likely to happen after a wet dream.

Certainly not, its just your body rewiring back to the time before you discovered masturbation.

This is certainly one of the most answered question here, I'll not repeat all the reasons. Basically it's a sound no, it's not a relapse and you avoid it by clearing your mind of sexual thoughts whatever technique you prefer, don't drink too much water before sleep and exercise.
