No willpower

    I watch so many motivational videos, remember all the reasons not to fap, remember all the feelings I get, and I still end up doing it. I don't know why I have the willpower to do so well in school, and keep my body and shape, but when it comes to PMO I can't control it. I just came off of the longest streak I had of 42 days, and now i went for 9 before falling again. During those 42 days, I had little urges, so that contributed to my success. How can I go back to that? I don't know how it happened

    I'll say what I know, I haven't been to 40 or so days yet. But for me the first 10 or so can suck. It's easy to lose control of the mind and let it wander in the beginning. You noticed the urges went away. first bump Is where I struggled it took me a couple months of trying and quiting but now its past I'm happy I've made it. Think about how you feel after you go 9 days and fap, are you mad at your self? Was it worth it?

    I barely managed 5 days before jerking off. Not wanting to put forth a wrong idea but don't compare yourself. Just as I cant compare myself to some guy who can't nofap for a day to feel good about myself, i also mustn't compare myself to folks who manage nofap marathon of 90 days or more.

    I have been teaching maths to a kid from across the neighborhood and he takes time to learn. I change the approach a bit and go down to explain the minute details.

    When i have to teach: 2x+3x+5y = 3x+5y i start with:
    2 burgers + 3 burgers + 5 donuts = 5 burgers and 5 donuts. I do that to explain him how to add numbers with same co-efficients.

    Maybe you just need to find a different approach. I first would watch advantages of nofap to motivate myself but that didnt work. Now i try to stay busy throughout the day so i dont have mental energy to jerk off. Reading helps.
