For the first time in my life, I went without fapping for 2 weeks. Sadly I relapsed last night and again today morning. But for most of the time of the 2 weeks, I was OK. However, last night, I felt like I was about to burst! It took me literally 10 seconds to orgasm! All the sexual tension that was built up in the last few days was released. My question is -That a time will come again - maybe in 2 weeks, maybe after a longer stretch - when I will feel full and about to burst. Where the slightest touch will result in an O. What should I do at such a time? Isn't it better to release the tension & restart, rather than feeling constantly horny and fidgety all the time??? IF I resist fapping, will this tension not continue to build? I have this question for all the guys who have long streaks -90 days, 150 days, one year, etc. Did you go through what I described? and if yes, then what happened when you resisted the urge to fap?

The problem here is that you feel "constantly horny".What do you do with that extra time you get when not PMOing ?
Do you try to transmutate your growing sexual energy into other activities like sports, creativity, social life etc ?
You NEED to stop seeing asses and tits everywhere, you HAVE to have more and more days of no sexual thoughts at all.
Dont get discouraged after a relapse.I think thats normal for a beginner. If you fail after two more weeks, its ok imo.
The goal is not the streak. The goal is to getting more and more aware of the mechanics of porn addiction and eliminate
    it with time.
You are on the right path, try to get awake QUICKLY after a relapse and continue fighting this motherfucker.

That happens to everyone. Seriously. Now, I'm not currently at 90 or 150 days, but I did make it to 83 days once. I went through that, and I just fought my way through. Don't give in, don't release, that doesn't help. You need to push through, get your mind off it. Go for a walk, talk to someone, get out of your house, do whatever it takes. You can do it!

can anyone help me with this..

i have been a regular fapper since last 13 years.. started nofap from jan 2020..first 2 month were ok but from third month i am getting regular wet dreams or nocturnal emissions...its april now and till date my semen is getting discharged in sleep....because of this my NoFap streak got broken and i fapped....

can anyone advise what should i do to retain semen...
i workout regularly , have healthy diest and not into alcohol or smoking.

  5. From personal experience, I recommend NoFap to anyone who struggles with compulsive porn or masturbation. My highest streak was 93 days. I made so many achievements in that time, I truly felt like a new person. What helped me was stopping cold turkey and creating a diary of my progress. Also, I try to accomplish small goals every day to keep me in a good mood. If I'm lazy all day, I am more likely to relapse. Don't worry about nocturnal emissions, they will happen. Just don't consciously fap.

  8. That's funny, it took me 78 days to get one wet dream and then I never got one after that. Not sure what to do in your case.

  9. I agree @matt2k12 , and this is what I tell people. If you go from fapping twice a day to NoFap - even if you still have bad periods where you relapse often - you are still doing it less overall, and you are making progress just by trying. When you relapse it's not like you never started Nofap, but rather you are just making the withdrawal take longer to go away.

Let's say you go one year and then relapse. It's not like going from complete recovery to complete withdrawal. You will still have the benefits of quitting as long as you don't go back to fapping constantly. But people like to be hard on themselves for relapsing, and it's the biggest mistake in my opinion. If I hate myself for fapping, I tend to do it more, but if I accept myself for making mistakes, then I am more successful.

@matt2k12 > what progress actually looks like

This helped me a lot Matt, to know that a relapse isn't "starting again" as it's very easy to believe when one does actually fap, because ones positivity and self-esteem can be so damaged during/after a relapse that this negative thinking can set in.

I'm clean but finding it difficult to avoid triggers during my job. I work as a carer and my colleagues think it's a good idea to put on some recent NetFlix reality show that is extremely racy. I don't think it is suitable for all the tenants but they watch it anyway.

I am luckily escaping into another tenants room where I an watching a dreamworks film instead.i wonder how people deal with triggering material in the event they can't easily be avoided...

if anything this stuff has made me so much more aware of my mind and feelings and where they go with this stuff.

take good care everyone who is on this journey and let's just get through today and keep learning new ways to deal with this and any other addictions we may be dealing with.

    peace

Always the first 30 days is the hardest(withdrawal symptoms)

First of all u need strong believe & faith in ur self
Then try to keep ur self busy with anything and leave the bed for the bed time or read books, anything helps u to sleep without overthinking.
What happened to u is a lack of dopamine, ur brain is not comfortable with u breaking the cycle of daily PMO and "i'm gonna go with he" seduced u to release that stress in the easiest way.

What I do before bed is I actually surf NoFap. I have a hard time to fall asleep right away so I come on here to remind myself why I must despise Pornography. Despise all the whores on the internet who are exploiting young and old men.

    Gents,
Do not let anyone exploit you. Have dignity for yourselves!

    Hi Stream Editor,

That's great advice and I'd follow it. let us all move, a day at a time, towards this new way of life.

one of grace, and excitement for our futures and not feeding that proto-animalistic desire for gratification that caused us so many problems.

let us all of us carefully watch and manage our behaviours and reach out to others in this great fellowship to be supported and to support others.

    peace ✌, Brahmacharya UK
