New Year's Resolution - Make it Now!!!

    I get it that this post is the day before December 2017. 2018 is still a month away.

    But what better way to resolve to have a porn-free 2018 by finishing off 2017 strong with a porn-free December?

    I hereby resolve before my NoFap friends and colleagues that I will not PMO in 2018.

    Now that I have made my resolution, I must start to abide by it. I am not waiting until the New Year to better myself.

    I do this for me, my family and my career.

    I'v been failing left and right lately, unable to stop the fantasies. I don't need a phone or a computer, my brain and hand is enough and I'm sick of it. I was thinking the same thing, @Veritech, about rolling into the new year strong. Can you imagine on January 1st, you're already a month in?! I'm gonna follow your lead, brother. We can do this.

    We need to try to be strong right now.

    How does one aspire for a New Year's Resolution when there is no previous history of changing their ways? Some say they will start to go to the gym, when they have never been to a gym before. If I start with the gym now, then I am more likely to keep it going than if I just start in January.

    The team that will win it all is the team that enters the playoffs on a winning streak. The first place team entering the playoffs on a losing streak will likely go down in the first round.

    I'm back in, Veritech. This has to be handled now. Day 0 for me. I relapsed like a mother fucker yesterday. I know the after affects of alcohol made me weak and that's when I fap. I need to stop drinking as well. Here's to the new year!

    Good luck Gents! I think a totally NoFap (no PMO) 2018 is a very worthy goal.

    I know my reboot is expected to take longer than a year, so no PMO for a year is a good idea for me as well. ......nnnooottt quite sure I can make it a year yet.....but each day I grow stronger.

    I am going for it. My only "out" will be if my wife makes a move on me......smiles. (that's been rare, but she's noticing my healing.)

    This was 100% my goal! I have already a 20+ days streak started on 19 nov. So i will start the year with a 40 days streak! And usually the 20-40 days are the hardest for me so if i can make it to the new year then im also confident that it possibly could be my first pm(o) free year in years! Good luck on your journeys guys.

    Thank you, @Veritech!! I've been strong for a few days now and very few urges. I'm also stopping drinking and gambling. I'm a fucking dopamine addict!! Dopamine for all the wrong reasons; fuck it, I'm done. I'll get my dopamine fix the way I used to before I became weak and let these fucking vices pull me into the abyss of shit.

    I figured that it is still 2017 and I can still use porn until 2018.

    I need to set a better example.

    With December half way done, I can still enter the New Year on a streak.

    I say it again: No PMO in 2018!!!

    I start (again) today.
