I started my NoFap for like the 100th time last month. My motivation was the fact that I had just had a big fight with my leech of a "girfriend" and the fact that I was afraid of getting ED. So I deleted all my P, left naughty groups on social media, cleared my history, reduced my bandwidth speed and hoped for the proverbial 90th day.
A few days later I had a mini relapse. I visited a webpage which is full of amateur vids and vines...then I clicked a link and viola! found myself on a live sex cam website...the kind which you sign up, load tokens and as you view a live broadcast, tip the performers...damn, it was a new experience. Its like being part of the action. You pay, you ask, its done. She dirty talks to you...private shows are the bomb...so all this new found excitement led to my major relapse. My question is, what should I do about it? Ive found a new lease to my PMO ways..*sigh* I need help..

I've had similar experiences. Usually it's just a new type of porn. I find something new, interesting or just plain weird, and then that's my "go to" porn for a while. The problem is we're kinda wired to get pleasure from this stuff, so I don't think there's anything in particular we can do to suddenly block it. Remember, the people that make porn do it to make money - sex sells. And how do you make sure it sells? By making it as desirable as possible. It's not a conspiracy - it's just business.

The only way to win this game is not to play. Yeah, I know that sounds laughably simple, I'm going through this too, so I really feel your pain on this one. All we can really do is when we notice we've walked down the wrong path (and let's be honest, sometimes it takes a while for us to notice), we should turn around and head back as fast as we can.

It's not staying on the horse that matters - it's getting back on it when it kicks us off - for the thousandth time ;)

  4. @papaG I see the last time you posted was June 2017 so I hope you are still committed and doing okay in your NoFap joruney.
I have been on a similar path but thanks to God I am now gradually improving. I know you will too :)
