I've relapsed after a 15 day streak and never want to do that again so here I am. I want to make it to 1 year as my goal. I know I can do this. Other things i'm going to do more seriously while on nofap are cold showers at the end of my warm shower. Ive also upped my 100 push ups a day challenge to 200 push ups a day. I now know 100 percent that I have PIED and its not good. Looking forward to meeting people who are on the same path. I've been having a hard time with nofap and Im looking for some help. Ive started squatting and lifting heavy again and doing MMA. NoFap is the last piece of the puzzle I need to get on the right path and get my life back in order.

thanks for checkin in, i plan on it for sure, Need to eat healthier too. More protein, fruits and veggies. No more garbage foods, real nutrient dense foods. I think if we can stay as busy as we can with hobbies, its going to help nofap.

Welcome! Don't hesitate to reach out for help if you sense a relapse. The daily journal helps too.

It is right on the website. You go under the forum with your age group and just post your thoughts and any highlights of your day. It's encouraged to do it daily so you can look back and see patterns with your emotions and stressors during your reboot. It's also instrumental in keeping track of how many days you have rebooting.

I'll definitely be checking that out thanks for showing me. I think one of the things that made me fail so many times on NoFap in the past was i did all the journals and logs in my head. Too much thinking going on there, this way I can go back and review everything.

  6. One of the ways I got involved with the fellowship was by reading some really great journals.

I've included journals from all age groups, spiritual members, religious members, secular members, male and female. You should find journals that help. If not, look around, there are hundreds of others from which to choose. When I say "it works if you work it", reading journals is part of that work.

Once you open a journal, click "Watch Thread" in the upper right of the page to get alerts when new posts are made. Here are just a few:

There are many more, and you can discover them on your own. But, these are great places to start.

This is a work in progress. So, if a journal has changed or is no longer active, look around there are some amazing journals on here.

Wow, thank you very much for taking the time to link those journals, i'll definitely be checking them out. I've spent some time in the PIED journals, since my main goal is to cure that, there are some really good ones in there too.

  8. Hey - make a list of them and suggest them to people mentioning PIED in their introductions. I had to find a niche to do some work. My program of recover is basically - Read, Work, Fellowship. Read journals and literature, work at saying hello to introductions, and participate in the fellowship.

I know what you mean. Leaving all of the clutter of thoughts in my head without getting it out is not a healthy place for me either.

When you track all that clutter in your head too, you forget days and lose track of days and then guess which one your on which isn't good, this way its documented each day with the journals, its like homework, at the end of the day fill out your journal. I also feel a sense of accountability and responsibility here. Without this forum, I would make it 10 or 15 days and then relapse and start over. I feel a discipline to keep myself in this community and be successful.

I totally agree. The forum keeps me accountable and honest with myself.
