Its been a while since I've done an entry. I made some commitments I couldn't keep. Its tough when that happens. Feeling good about trying to renew yourself and your goals and commit to no PMI. But the hardest thing I've learned over the years is accepting that failing to meet those goals does not make you a failure: either in my life or in the eyes of God. Grace has been instrumental.

But the aim to a life with healthier practices can't be done alone. Can't be done without help. i've tried to go it alone for years. The other big challenge is that I work from home. So I'm by myself for most of the day most of the week. I really want to take advantage of this community. I really appreciate it and I"m inspired by it.

So I'm making a new commitment today: 30 days of no PMI. To help support that, I'm also committing to:
-one entry a day into NoFap
-no computer, phone usage thats not monitored or protected when I'm alone. My work computer has protections in it, its my phone and tablet that get me.
-daily prayer through reading, reflection or quiet stillness.

I think its important to not think of this as another thing to do or a checklist, but just trying to build daily habits by weaving them in and out of my day.

Does anyone have any other suggestions as far as daily practices and habits to help maintain your commitment? Especially for someone who works from home and is alone most of the time?

Thanks and blessings to all of you.
