Never could be the man that i want to be

Discussion in 'Porn Addiction' started by Deleted Account, Jun 24, 2018.

  1. Hi , i am 23 yo i have a big problem concerning the realization of my goals since i started fapping , i feel like a prisoner because i have such a powerful brainwashing concerning this addiction , soon i start my streak i feel that i can never live alife without fapping because i am too weak and i can not support life's problem without it.

I have bright ideas , and big projects to achieve but my output is near to zero , this addiction steal a lot from me ,starting with my focus , my manhood , my self confidence and the most important my freedom because i am not free anymore.

i am always stressed and overthinking , i do not feel life anymore , sorry if there is a lot of misery in my post but i supposed it is the case for hard addicts like me since i started this addiction since my 13 i suppose , always trying to stop it but fail.

Do you think that a PMOer can one day reach the same level as a non-PMOer and start achieving big things ??

    Thank you in advance

It's all about your habits man. Your cue is being stressed out your routine is pmo and your reward is feeling better during. You can change the routine but you can't change the cue or reward so my advice to you is do something like jog when your stressed out and eventually that can replace your habit. After jogging reward yourself with a smoothie our something just keep your head up man.

I think this book can help you it's helping me understand a lot about why I do the things I do, its' definitely a good read you should check it out here is the link.

  3. Thank you, i see your point, so the plan would be to create other habits to deal with stressed situation and tk create a new reward pathway in the brain, i will try it.

Exactly change the routine and fine the reward so you stick with the plan. One thing I also read was you need to believe in yourself and sometimes a pack mentality can help in the stressful situations when you want to go back to your old routine. I believe in you dude do you believe in yourself?

  6. You can do anything you want with the right mindset that is beleving in your self and in your vison don't listen to the people that say you can't do this or that or that is impossible you have to beleve in yourself and in your dreams and goals.

Another thing you should do is write down a plan for when you want to pmo. For example mine is if I get the sudden urge to pmo I will go for a jog or on the treadmill. Write it down and then tell me what you come up with.

  10. Yes i have already done this today, actually i writed down all the possible triggers and how to deal with them, then i established a plan for the urges. Thank you so much for your support
