Nail Biting stops on NoFap

    I've noticed a very strange correlation between my lifelong nail biting habit and NoFap - every time (not just most of the time) I get a week into a streak of NoFap I notice my nails become noticeably longer (gradually, not suddenly :)). I know I'm not imagining it because my girlfriend has commented telling me I need to file my freakishly long nails and I've broken skin when clenching fists during a workout (multiple times). I'm certainly not complaining as I kind of like it - I can open things more easily and generally feel somehow cleaner and more confident (probably mostly mental because of no PMO), and I can file them down when it's a problem. I'm just blown away by how much the abstention from both habits are connected - it never fails to happen and I'm guessing it's less anxiety / self-destructive impulse but I can't be sure. Anyone else?

    I bit my nails even when I didn't masturbate, so I'm not sure about this.

    I quit biting my nails many years before I found NoFap. The secret: it's impossible to bite your nails without putting your fingers in your mouth. I sat on my hands or kept them in my pockets for three weeks and I never bit my nails again.
