    hai !
    I am a porn addict....
I think I've got company here.....
    Feeling awful to admit it.
So thats my only addiction but has turned out to be a big mess.
I tried several herbs and hybrids to cure it and was successful only for a short period. It affected me in all my resolutions my workout plans diet plans and discouraged me to live a healthy life.
Today by deciding to join Nofap I challenge myself to be a no addiction man.
A man who cannot be enslaved by a silly habit.
    A free man.
    A man to be honest.

Hope you all would join hands with me and help me in succeeding of my goals.
    Thank you all.

    Welcome to Your New Beginning.

This is YOUR recovery and you must own it. You may be familiar with other addiction recovery programs. The first 90 days of these programs require meeting everyday for the first 90 days of recovery. I suggest visiting and contributing to NoFap each of your first 90 days. Glean wisdom from the strong, encourage the new, and be wary of those who are negative and make excuses. Add the words of your struggle to those of others and help create this wonderful narrative of transformation. I have made my NoFap time a replacement for all web surfing and social media. Be wary of depending on technology like counters and web filters. Understand that the battle is between your ears more so than between your legs. Each time you are tempted to go to that foul place, you must remember the man you are working to become, and then choose to be in control. Do not allow porn to steal another second of your life.

    Invictus
    William Ernest Henley, 1849 - 1903
Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
    For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
    Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul

    Be Strong my Friend.

Welcome to the NoFap community jizg771  and I hope you find these tips helpful.
    • Do not touch your penis unless you are peeing or washing it - no exceptions.
    • Do not use porn (in any form), do not masturbate or cum - called hard mode.
    • Remove sexual thoughts and images from your mind, completely/instantaneously.
    • When weakening from temptation get up and do something: for example, exercise.
    • Find a strict Accountability Partner, the best would be someone you know and trust. o_O
Also check The Glossary (above) for the words, phrases and abbreviations we use here.

In addition to the advice given above, you've got to find someone in whom you can confide. Whether it be a friend or support group, you've can't do this alone.

I'm a big fan of Sex Addicts Anonymous. I attend a local meeting. Nothing like the fellowship of guys all in the same boat sitting around sharing their stories. Handshakes and hugs go a long way toward recovery.

    Don't give up.

I believe that we all are here to get rid of a same problem. We all have set our own goals that we are capable of getting done.
Like i have kept a goal of 90 days of sexual abstinence.
So I was enquiring about your goal as a fapstranaut....
Is this site only about getting rid of sexual addiction or for all addictions....
    With regards
    Rahul

It is a good question Rahul. When someone has a counter displayed a goal is usually stated (e.g. 300 days). My long range goal is 365 days, but I want to deal with the next two months first. Some people set a distant goal and aim for it from the start. But many break the goal down into less daunting chunks which gives them an ongoing sense of achievement. I have always favoured the latter method. When someone like @D . J . has no stated goal it is not possible to know if the are a serial relapser, building on a small but solid foundation or something truly significant. I happen to know which of these would describe his status, but I will let him share that.

Btw, there are problems with the current counters, so I would hold on and wait for the official NoFap counter soon coming.

Thank you for clarifying. My goal is to life my life in abstinence. Through my faith, I have been led in that direction. I will continue to abstain from sex, porn and masturbation. For me, who is currently flatlining, I main focus is to encourage others reach their particular goal.
