My Introduction

I originally started April, having relapsed once or twice within the first weeks..

So.. I have decided to join the forums because I've started to take this very seriously.
I was very sceptical at first believing that it was all just a placebo.
(Which does not matter anyway even if it was because it still helps)

God how i was wrong.

I can honestly say, that it is not a placebo at all, this is very real....

The benefits have starting to kick in dramatically and for the very first time i feel as though i am actually somebody, and not a stranger to myself..
For some reason it's killing off other addictions which i had in domino effect which is interesting.
Although my brain is constantly looking for that next rush of dopamine, the key is to take control and transmutate it by looking for something constructive to do.

Use that to your advantage.

All i can say is, it really is quite liberating being able to feel again, it's almost possible to cry on demand because i deeply appreciate the little things which i was blind to before. I seem to be able to decide what mood i want to be in, it's very weird, but too good to lose.

I do not remember when i last relapsed.. But i have Reset my counter for June 6th, only because i went through a rough patch of seeking an Escort which to my eyes is a relapse (which thankfully i did not follow through on) DO NOT DO IT GUYS, i was lucky enough to have a huge hit of guilt just before i went to see one. God knows how i would have felt if i actually went along with it. Reset from that point to stay true to myself and everybody else..

I think the only way through this is to find that person you want to be, and hold onto it with everything you have, because we all know that it will be worth it in the end.
