My eyesight is decreasing!!!!!!!!!

    Hello fellow brothers, as eveybody here on this website , i am suffering from a number of problems but recently my eyesight has been decreasing(had 10/10 before) and i believe that the cause is jerking off cause in the past two months ,i have been faping off at least 2 times a day so please if anybody has this before please tell me . Any kind of support is highly appreciated
     
  2. First - go to eye professional and get an understanding why your eye sight is getting poor. There are few mechanisms behind this, you must know which one is at play in your case.
    Do not confuse this with "listen to what the doctor said", actually research and understand what physically causes decline in your vision. Then you can develop a plan of action to manage or resolve your issue.
    Second - stop assuming porn is the cause for all ailments. It is not.

    Thank you i'll go to the doctor as soon as possible but i still believe that jerking off is the main reason

    Prolonged use of a computer will eventually cause your eyesight to deteriorate consult a doctor so you know what happened

  5. Please share any factual data you have that definitively points to connection between jerking off and visual organs...

    You know what, never mind that, YES YES - jerking off is going to ruin your vision, and if ruined it can not be recovered ever(even with infinity gauntlet *snap* containing all infinity stones), every time you do "it" your ability to focus with your eye balls falls by 0.0023% give or take and if you do it more often between 12pm and 12am you will have issues seeing close objects and if after 12am and before 12pm then far objects will become blurry by 0.0023% after every jerk off. You should stop immediately before president blindness befalls you.
    Despite all of the above consultation with professional should not be avoided.

    You bring up a very important point that is often overlooked in this forum. Many, because of all the information about how Porn is bad(and it is bad,) end up asssuming many of their problems are PMO related. I would not consider my probpems are PMO related until I am certain that multiple times over it gets worst right after PMO and gets better the longer it is avoided and that there seems to be a reasonable biological explanation. A good example of this for me was the posssibility of PMO affecting acne increase in teenagers who PMO'd before or during puberty. It gets worse when I M and better when I don't almost immediately. I have experienced this multiple times and I find found a lot of others with this same issue and they brought me to the understsnding, along with my own research, that it is most likely hormone inbalances caused by erratic dopmine highs. It's why street drugs do this as well. It also explains why it is more common amongst those who got into PMO at an earlier age because that is when the hormones are being developed for after puberty. In the case of this example there is a general sense that it could be PMO related but it doesn't seem to have a definitive effect and there is a more logical possibility that while viewing P there is a lot of screen time(i know there is for me.) As someine mentioned thisbcoukd simply be a simpler solution. When you view P for an extended period of time it burns the eyes. Sorry about the big post.

    Noone wants to take responsibility for anything these days. Have a problem - just blame something like porn or better yet: blame the president. And then lets have a discussion about how those horrible things ruined your life. Spectacular.

    Poor diet and unhealthy lifestyle ruin health and vision, and cause abuse of porn. Fix your health and do the research - you will be happy and fulfilled, but that means you have to take responsibility for all of it... bummer

  8. How much time do you spend on the computer each day? If the answer is "over 2 hours daily", you know what is contributing to your vision problems. The blue light and the flickering monitors can put a lot of strain on your eyes, furthermore your eyes will constantly focus on an object too nearby (your computer) which will weaken their ability to correctly focus on items beyond that point (if overdone). So if let's say you spend 5 hours or so daily on the computer, over time this will have serious effects on your eye health.

    If you can identify excessive use of computers or smartphones as being a problem, you should start by cutting back on your exposure to these media (start thinking of them as a reward) and by investing in computer glasses, these will have yellow glasses to filter out the harmful light rays coming from the computer as much as possible.
    If you're someone who hardly ever uses a computer, then by all means go see an optician, but in this day and age, screens are probably your problem.
    Here's a golden rule for you: try to expose yourself to sunlight more than you do to the manmade blue artificial light. Not only will this benefit your eyes (given that you don't stare into the sun directly, never do that since it can cause vision loss), it will also benefit your overall health. The sun is the single most important source of vitamin D and blue light and EMFs will rob you of this important vitamin if you spend too much time on the computer. Excessive computer use combined with a porn and masturbation addiction is nothing short of a health hazard. It just strains the entire nervous system and you need time away from screens and the internet to counteract the harmful effects. Studies have been carried out that clearly indicate a connection between excessive computer use and poor overall health.
    Hydration, a healthy diet rich in vegetables, ending the masturbation habit, going to bed early and limiting your exposure to the blue light, especially at night, are all important things to consider.
