I'm posting this here because I'm 48 and wondering how men 40+ wake up in the morning and work out. For younger men this isn't as much of a problem, as I remember, but now it is, and lifting is key to my recovery. Like a lot of people I wait until later in the day and often skip because work runs late or dozens of other excuses. I work alone at home and don't get started until 10AM or so, so I have time. I just don't have the motivation in the mornings to get started (I struggle with beginning my work as well). If anyone has a secret to getting up and working out early I'd love to hear it.
I recite this every morning: Waking up, 24 brand new hours are given to me, I vow to live in each moment deeply and look at everyone with compassion. some days I watch this: Good luck and in this together with u.
