Mindfulness to Beat Addiction

    This is a very interesting TED video on using mindfulness to kick an addiction. Instead of using willpower to stay away, why not explore and really think about what it is your feeling. Why is it you feel the urge to watch P? What draws you to M or O?

    Does anyone try this to avoid PMO? I find it's very easy to get swept up in arousing feelings keeping it hard to focus or be mindful.

    Mindfullness is good but it takes time to develop, most people PMO because they have no emotional control, and those emotions override the rational part of the brain.

    Again though, mindfullness is a good skill to learn and practice, eventually it will start to pay off.
