Thank you mate, appreciate that. Yes, meditation helps a lot.

How is it going for you?

  2. I’m going alright. I understand where you are coming from because I too been through some rough patches in life and it definitely drains you, the constant worry is very maddening, I’m glad you’re still going brother.

I feel better, very slightly, every 2 months, but that’s with a few relapses. A 2 month streak straight is very nice but I want to make a year but seems almost impossible :/ I just relapsed too so that kinda sucks, but bought a green smoothie after my gym session and got a meditation session in, all before work, so all isn’t bad I suppose lol :)

  3. Even though this thread is almost a year old or so. I'm glad it's bumped. I've been feeling what you guys are feeling "PAWS." I hope this doesn't last long, the brain in my head is telling me to masturbate and fantasizing crazily. I'm telling it no and it just won't stop. It really was that dopamine. Right now I've been feeling so down my anxiety is high and my attitude is dead, my sex drive is non existent. But the fight must go on. Tough times make tough people.

  4. Going off of what you said, I think pmo addiction is crazy and we should really consider putting our all into fighting it, like we would with any other huge problem

10 months in, i think PAWS kicked in around 8 months. Little more at 10 months. Seems to be on off depending on the day, could be off a few days to weeks then back. Anxiety doesnt last as long but can be more frequent at times.

Sucks, but I have to stay committed. It's the price we have to pay for all the time devoted to pmo. Stay strong everyone!

i still have some bad days which are really bad.
main problem is not having motivation to do things, not because i feel bad or sad but i just cant do what i want to do.

Once you get past 100 days, you are no longer in the Amateur leagues, but youre in the Majors; you are a Nofap Elder, a Senior level Jedi. There are new challenges to overcome and new techniques to master, the journey is never over. You're now in Graduate school.

    americanaddictioncenters.org says...

"Although withdrawal symptoms are uncomfortable, they typically end after two weeks at most, especially when a medical professional oversees the detox process. However, some drugs can lead to prolonged or protracted withdrawal, lasting for months and sometimes up to a year. People who consume a large amount of an intoxicating substance for a long time are more likely to develop this condition, which is called post-acute withdrawal syndrome (PAWS)."

Keep in mind most poeple don't just cut it cold turkey for life. Most relapse and keep trying. This is equivalent to tapering instead of just quiting all at once.
