I feel like I have a lot of symptoms mostly revolving around an association I have between anxiety and sexually explicit content.
    I experience:
    1. Uncontrollable shaking (tremors)
    2. hot flashes
    3. cold sweats
    4. heart palpitations (rapid heart beat)
    5. high blood pressure
    6. chest pain
    7. fatigue
    8. invasive thoughts
    9. mood swings
    10. persistent arousal
    11. depression
    12. anxiety
    13. panic
    14. difficulty concentrating
    15. difficulty with memory retention

I experience many of these symptoms as well. Withdrawal is often times extremely intense for me. I was going on about four months I think. And at least once a month I would have a serious withdrawal like this that could last between 1 and three days.

The best thing I learned while dealing with the withdrawal symptoms is to not be so hard on yourself. Just because you're having withdrawal doesn't make you a bad person.

Try to remind yourself of how much progress you've made. Remind yourself of how terrible you will feel afterwards if you give in.

Most importantly find your accountability buddy. Withdrawal (at least for me) is not something you can cope with on your own. You need someone there to help you, to make sure you don't relapse.

If it makes you feel better to have a time frame then I can say that in my experience withdrawal symptoms usually pass after about three days. But it could be quicker. And the longer you abstain the less intense the symptoms will be. U til eventually you will rarely experience them.

I hope this helps! And you can always talk to me if you need help.

I can relate to this so well. It always feels terrible afterwards. Honestly I don't think I'd be where I am without my buddy. He has been my rock. It's the best thing I did for myself was to get someone who could hold me accountable.

Hang in there, don't put yourself down just because you relapsed. Pick yourself up, make a plan of action and start again. This is only a minor set back on the long road to recovery.

    What I experienced as withdrawal:

    1. Butterfly in stomach feeling
    2. Thoughts on my head saying or not saying to watch porn
    3. Anything sexual in nature triggered me.

after some weeks however, the thoughts went away and my control to not watch it got much better. I’m still working on it and I think I’m close but who knows for sure.

I am on Day 2 and this is the best thing I could hear.

I have been very nervous all day and I am shaking crazily. My hands feel numb and I feel butterflies in my stomach. I tried to eat, but then felt like vomiting. I am easily scared. I keep reading how hard it is, which makes me even more scared. My wife asked me to go out, but I couldn't and I tricked her to go by herself. I am alone, but fortunately, I am too sick to think about p. I have been urinating a lot

Definitely what you said is giving me hope that in a cpl of days the withdrawal symptoms will be better. Even though given my heavy usage and overall health issues, I don't think it is realistic, but I want to believe in it. I have hope

What's new? Did the symptoms disappear after 5 months? I have been abstinent for 150 days and nothing has changed. I have symptoms similar to yours, knowing that I relapse once a month. Does this affect the perception of the results?

Since I stopped masturbating and quit smoking, I started to lose weight. Do you know the reason and has your condition improved?

I have reached 150 days. I have many symptoms and I have the same problem that you have. For almost two months, I have been waking up early, between 3:30 and 4:30. How are you now

    - brian fog
    - A strange sort of exhaustion
    - and worst of all for me is slurred speech. I'm not able to speak words coherently so I end up shutting my mouth for weeks being extremely silent. It's unfortunate but when your tongue is tied up by this addiction, there's very little I can do

I have stopped masturbating and smoking for 150 days, and my weight is decreasing day after day. Did the same thing happen to you?

Day 155 for me no porn and only m/o 3 times with just thoughts

flatline (no libido and just general flat emotional state)
    - sleep is more disturbed and lighter..don’t sleep as deeply as when I would PMO before sleep
    - definitely less motivation to socialize and be around people
