    Hey Everyone,
Wanted to post a short bit about our shared issue. When I initially came back to nofap I had put some time in, though I cant remember if I had made it a month. I slipped and left the site for a while, feeling bad and not wanting to issue proclamations or advice if I couldnt keep my own act together. How can you help someone if you havent solved it for yourself?
I started out with just the 7day challenge and it progressed and I kept going and made it past a month. This might be the best run so far for me. I feel good and though, like any addict, I can hear the voice, and feel the urge, I have stayed strong.
The avatar on my profile spells it out completely and Im glad that I was able to change it for my post here: I cannot let my mind wander. For me it is crystal clear. If I dont keep my thoughts on lockdown I will slip. Keep the three second rule in effect; when you see something or someone that triggers you...tear your eyes and thoughts away from it with extreme prejudice. Dont let your gaze linger and you wont fixate. When you begin to play with the idea of going to your computer or your phone, the justification will begin and it will become harder to stop. At a certain point you will agree with this bullshit and then the slide becomes inevitable and ultimately unstoppable.
The suffering is real and it will physically bother you but It gets easier.
I know that there isnt a working solution for everyone as the flavors of this issue are different for everybody. But the thought process is the same. It all begins here. Everything springs from the first though even if that thought is slightly different.
Thoughts become ideas, and ideas become actions. Patterns of thoughts and actions become behaviors and ultimately habits.
Keep trying to understand how these thoughts arise and you will gain some leverage. Once that happens you can work with it and begin to fight back.
    Just keep trying.

I 100% agree with you. I've stated in other post - control your eyes, which will control your thoughts, which will control your actions.

This could be a saying ! I totally agree with you. It's exactly how I relapsed : by thinking about it more and more for days and finally I'm watching porn without even seeing it coming !

Thank you! It is part of the process indeed, and overcoming is way ahead by starting again.
