    Hey guys,

I've gone 40 days free of pmo, and I am here to tell you that it can be done. No matter who you are and what circumstances you happen to be under, EVERYONE has the power within them to change themselves. Being here on an anti pmo forum just proves and reinforces that you are that small percentage of people, ready to do everything that is necessary to fight your problems.

It has only been just recently that I have been fortunate to be enlightenened by this new perspective, to know that I CAN be better, and I WILL be better because it is a simple choice; live an amazing life or enjoy little bouts of fleeting novelty such as porn. The answer is so clear, isn't it?

It doesn't matter about how much you have struggled before, trust me, it's not worth lingering on it. What matters now is what you choose to do right here, right now in this moment.

The WAY that you can do this is simply to have faith, trust that everything you have read, everything you have learnt in order to battle your addiction, is true. Everything from the added benefits of confidence, the amazing increase in females being attracted to you, the focus, the clarity.... It is all there within you already once you simply just rid yourself of the shackles that is pmo. Trust in all the methods you have learnt, such as cold showers, diverting your attention from your computer frequently; they do work, trust me, they can work for you.

All in all, my main point is that being free of pmo is simply achievable, that is all I'm saying, if you didn't want to read this post until now, and had just read this line, you would have understood my message.

Ok fellow nofappers, keep calm and carry on doing what you do best.

You are definitely right that it can be done! Some struggle more than others but anyone and everyone can be free from PMO if they simply don't focus on porn or whatever. Keep up the good work and continue on the road of recovery! Today has been six weeks (42 days) for me. You're not alone.

Great work brother! only 3 relapses is a huge improvement. I think it's great that you've been honest with your wife. At first I thought she was being too harsh, but you have to realize that she wants what is best for both of you. You're on the right track. Keep it up!

Today I feel qualified to post in the Success Forum at 33 days clean. I've got much greater aspirations though as I'd really like to conquer this life sucking ill in my past so that I am never again enslaved to it.

In the last 33 days, I've learned a great deal about myself. You see, in the process of quitting NoFap, I discovered and participated in the Catholic/Orthodox threads and last week I returned to my Faith after a 36- year absence. I thought that adhering to the Church's teachings would be restrictive and difficult. It was a drastic change, so obviously there wa s some adjustment in my life that was necessary. What I found though is the rewards of living a life with God far outpace the discomfort of withdrawing from NoFap. I initially thought that living my life according to the teachings of the Church would be difficult, restrictive, and would rob me of my freedom. Contrarily, though, living a life with God gives you MORE freedom, the freedom from sins like PMO. Now I want to parlay the success of NoFap into many other areas needing attention. I'll derive even greater freedom when I conquer these other bad habits that diminish the quality of my life.

I would strongly urge anyone newly taking on a pledge to quit PMO to incorporate the religion of their choice into the process. Go talk to someone from the Church. I spent over an hour with the Priest one week ago today giving him a complete rundown of my past life including PMO. Part of our visit included my first Confession in many many years, and the next day I received the sacrament of Holy Communion.

It's all come together so profoundly for my these past few weeks; I strongly feel that my life will be forever changed in hte most extremely good and rewarding way possible.

May the peace, strength, and resolve of God be with you all,
