Just turned down sex

So I was supposed to be meeting this girl for a one night stand in September and I've just told her I can't do it, so proud of myself!!! I'm doing 180 days hard-mode so I wouldn't be ready by then and I've decided that I want to wait for the right girl rather than having meaningless sex as cheesy as that sounds this is a positive step towards rebooting though

 

Exactly!! I've had 4 one night stands in the past year and I just felt like shit after them, definitely prefer being with a girl that I had feelings for and I'm determined to complete my 180 day reboot and then I'll get myself back on the market and look for the right girl. In my opinion, nofap is about becoming a better man and having one night stands I didn't feel like I was acting like a man at all, felt more like a kid that couldn't keep his dick in his pants.

 

They can trigger the chaser effect but in my eyes they're just wrong and pointless. It's not the fact that we don't want them, it's more that having sex with someone you love is just far better but if you're constantly having one night stands then you're just wasting sexual energy that you could be saving for the right girl and not to mention one night stands can still be considered objectifying women cause you're basically using them for sex. It's all about becoming a better man and being alpha dude!!

 

Yeah it definitely slows it down because most PMO addicts will fantasize about porn when they're having sex which is what we need to avoid thinking about whilst we go through reboot. Also risk the chaser effect so after sex we may end up going and watching porn then end up in full relapse/binge mode. I've masturbated since I was 5 years old and I'm now 26. I've never gone long without an orgasm so hard-mode for 180 days is gonna be tough but I'm determined to do it.

It was because she lives quite far away and I'm at uni so got a lot of work to do and don't have the cash to travel until September, honestly though not having any more one night stands.
