I honestly thought it was a joke so I pushed it aside and gave him a sarcastic thank you. I got bored in the middle of the night and opened the link and there it was, a google drive full of porn, I thought my blocker would work against it but I guess that's another thing I have to look out for. My blocker really is fool proof, but my self control isn't. I realised that no matter how many ap's or support groups you have, no matter how many blockers you put up, it all comes down to ourselves whether we really want to stop or not, I have been asked multiple times before if I really want to stop PMO, it hurts to be asked that because I really want to stop PMO but my desires can overtake me sometimes, driven by my emotions, triggered by negative thoughts. I know it is not a valid excuse, people have it worse than me. I am just here to report that porn isn't worth it, it wants nothing from you but it takes everything you have. Sounds like he's a jerk not a friend if he gave you a drive filled with p if he knows your trying to quit. But if you ever have the urge to watch p distract yourself, leave your room and phone and go somewhere like the kitchen and do something. Or if you can't just see pics of lingure models or set your browser to filter explicit searches. By going on search settings which is below the google search
Delete the link and everything associated with it; browser history, etc. Consider blocking your "friend". Commit to remaining porn free because it really isn't worth it. Get back up. You got this.
I am with them actually. It sucks that your friend sent you that link! I honestly would consider talking to them and if they are not serious letting the rest of NoFap know so we can put a spotlight on this dude. Its not right for this to happen like this. Man I have been in your position recently and if nothing else I am doing good recently about to do a week into a streak for the first time in a good while. Therefore just do not despair and give up, just make some changes if necessary and keep swimming.
He is doing nofap as well and when I told him what he did he apologised and told me that he thought I quit nofap because I don't seem to care anymore when I relapse. He thought that it was ok. I guess it was my fault for relapsing a lot, since I have been asked if I am really serious about rebooting. Just when everything was going well with the start of my year....
