Is this real? Will it really help me get erections again?

Coming up on 1 week. Still feel nothing so far.

If this works and I can be a normal person again with hope of a normal sex life, it will be SO easy to avoid porn and so motivating. I still get erections at night but they vanish nowadays if I touch myself or stand up, been that way for a couple years. I can't tell you how hopeful I am that this is real.

It is real. There are thousands of guys reporting it constantly. Why would they lie about it? So, I think you can be very motivated to get your life back, my friend!

However, you mustn't expect it to happen in just a few weeks. It took years to develope problems, and it will take at least a few months to get back to normal. If you see no change in a month or more, don't get frustrated and use it as an excuse to start watching porn again. You will recover eventually, but it needs time!

Stay focused and patient, and everything will turn out fine.

Thank you so much. It makes me nearly cry with joy imagining that sex isn't over for me. I just want a normal loving sexual relationship. Not getting any answers from doctors. Maybe this sort of problem is too new for them.

I am being so careful, very focused. I'm not looking at porn. I'm not touching myself. I can be patient too, I'm willing to go much longer than 90 days if I can be normal again and that's how long it takes for my brain. If I can get back to normal then I'll gladly throw my computer off a cliff.

Is there anything else that helps this process of resetting my brain? And where in the forums can I look for some success stories?

Porn addiction is a fairly new sensation, yes. Although there is research out, which clearly supports the addiction model, it is not that much compared with other fields of research (cigarette or drug addiction for example). I'm sure, that there will we tons of clear research in just a couple of years. Doctors will probably learn more about it, when more research is done.

In my experience exercise is the single, most important activity to help you recover. It was proven over and over again, that nothing helps your mental health as good as exercise does. Since recovering from porn addiction can be hell from time to time, it is very benefitial to exercise on a regular basis. There are also plenty of experiences and tips from other people here on the forum and on other forums.
