I don't wanna be triggered by seeing some pornographic content voluntarily or involuntarily. I managed to block it on my laptop. I wonder if I could do it in my phone?

Good question, I'm interested to know this also.
How did you block it on your laptop?
I want to block it on my Xbox aswell. Does anybody know if this is possible?

  3. Well, walls alone ain't gonna help you, especially if you keep having a go trying to get past them.

Try Mobicip safe browser .Its available on playstore. It offers pretty strict content filtering and you can use it to lock up any other apps, which means browsers like chrome,UC and the default phone browser can be locked (I think it does that as a default upon installation too) and you're forced to use only the Mobicip browser which filters content pretty good--sometimes too good .

Blockers are good tools but please don't become dependent on the them to be the only thing stopping your from relapsing, that will never work in the long run. Others have spoken to length on what needs to be done to get over this addiction,so I won't elaborate.

    Good luck!

Divert your mind towards something which isn't porn.

    Use OpenDNS to Block Porn.
To set OpenDNS as your default DNS server, goto your Setting > WiFi > select your home WiFi > Advance Option > Change DNS setting > and now add the following values.

    DNS 1: 208.67.222.123
    DNS 2: 208.67.222.123
In some devices, there is no option to change DNS server, for that you can use WiFi setting app in the google play store. It’s free and works well.
It’s not just limited to porn or adult websites, but you can set filters to many other inappropriate contents like illegal activity, social networking sites, video sharing sites, and general time-wasters etc.
If you have time for porn you have time for anything else download some games and play them instead of watching porn. This works for me.

Use K9 protection. They are pretty good.

In case you wanna block it forever, start a new mail ID with password that you'll forget in a day ( full of symbols and numbers) and configure k9 with it. BEWARE of doing this, you may noy be able to easily get past the block if you want to.

Try using a screwdriver. It works like this: put phone on concrete block and stab repeatedly with screwdriver.

Your brain will ultimately be the only effective tool you will use to block porn. Anything else will just be a distraction. Train your brain and success will follow.

Just to add, I've had K9 installed on all my devices at one stage or another. It's pretty good but it isn't full proof, there are ways around it as with any product.

Put it this way, if you really still want to access porn, you'll find a way. So work on not wanting to access it in the first place. Use your phone and laptop etc in public places when you can. Whenever you see a trigger, simply shrug it off and tell yourself that it is of no interest to you anymore. Then turn off your device, go outside and do something else.

  10. Ub3rT1m3 is right. I have installed a lot of blockers but ended up finding a way around it. You don't want to be overly dependent on them. This is coming from a person who spent a lot of time finding a right one and ended up finding a way to uninstall and stuff. It will be more preferable if you could work on your will to not access it. Good luck!!
