Is there a link between the type of porn we get addicted to and our life issues?

I think our sexual preferences and likes are deeply ingrained in us and porn only exaggerates them. I've heard before that many of our fetishes are often an answer to aspects of our deep seated psychology.

When you talk about BDSM, what were you actually into? Bondage, being dominant, being submissive, all of them?

While I'm personally not specifically into BDSM, I have a thing for women who go more into a dominant direction, especially curvy women. I've always liked that, pre porn and now on a strong NoFap streak.

I think we just get addicted to whatever we like. Some things resonate with us and some don't.

If you were attracted to BDSM before getting hooked on porn that's probably what you are naturally into. Best way to find out is to go on a long streak and after a few weeks/months without porn and fantasizing you'll know what massively turns you on.

Sure. My mother was never around in my life and always neglected me. I always watched mother and son porn, because... I don't know, they just get along super well in the video, and I just really wanted to be close to her, even if it involved sex.

I mean, to think about the level of intimacy you need to have sex with someone, I wish I had that with my mother. Unfortunately, the bridge is burned and I've blocked her for a year now after a huge argument we had.
