I mean all the dopamine's are constantly working out almost similar to porn. Is it bad for us who recover from messed up dopamine levels?

I don't think so. To me music is life .. Just the type of music can contribute if it has negative meaning to it then it could be really bad for you. Also ensure that it is being played at 432Hz and NOT at 440Hz.

Give the clasical music a go, it will easy you into relaxation & if you have plants growing in the enviroment they will truly appreciate the vibrations.

I will give this an eye when I have more data available. & will post my clip for you to have a look at. 432 resonates with our being. Until later, be well

It may be bad for your ears but i dont think it will have -ve on your brain. It will relax your brain but avoid watching music videos which are more porn less music. And you are good.

Doing too much of anything is bad, but in no way is music comparable to porn. Music makes me think; I can relate to many points or subjects the artist/singer wants to portray, and overall it keeps me more focused with a bit of motivation also. However, if it comes to a point where it interferes with priorities in your life, then it's too much.

Uplifting music is probably better than adrenaline rush. Try listening to things that represent the values you want for yourself. Lots of music -- especially videos, but the radio, as well -- has been reported as triggering to many of us in this community, so there is certainly a cause for concern.

Stay vigilant -- great topic to explore :)

  10. I mean not really. But for me if I listen to music for a long period of time it'll seem boring.

Music is a healthy addiction. Especially positive music. I can't go a day without music.

Can even a really good song(say, your favourite or a new song from your favourite singer/band) give you brain at least 10% of the dopamine, that masturbation to Porn can give? I d not say so.
Of course music is enjoyable, but you could nt compare a dopamine rush, that music causes with the one that pmo does.

I consider binge-listening to music non-optimal and a waste of time.
