Irrational thought

    Ever since I discovered this site, my temptations have been off the charts.

    I am in a good marriage, my lust wants to screw it up.
    The hormonal part of me wants to ditch the marriage and live like Charlie Sheen (or at least what's portrayed in Two and a Half Men) and endlessly sleep with any girl that would come home with me.

    I've had my chance in the dating world, and at the time I went for the one genre of girls that had no attraction to me. Fortunately I met my wife, but I just miss the thrill of dating attractive women.

    At least in the camgirl world.. I'm tired of being one of those guys that falls for the lustful bait. No matter how hot a girl is, she (even with her goods) is not a much better person than I am. But my lust manages to drag me by the balls and makes me bow to someone like them.

    What is the first step to taming LUST?

    What is Lust? A feeling of wanting to have sex with something or someone?Lust towards your wife is a good thing. So lust itself is not the problem. Taming lust will just make you not attracted towards your wife. I think you need to accept that you sexually attracted to other girls first. Accepting that you are attracted and accepting yourself as someone who is attracted to other girls while in a marriage will take you towards a step of recovery. I think you are already there. From now on, every time your brain says “hey look at that chick!” You say thank you brain, than you evolution. During evolution we were supposed to be attracted to other girls as we need to increase the chances of reproduction. But by getting married we are already taming this feeling, this lust. Do not feel bad about being arrested to someone. Feel good that you are not acting on it. You can’t control your feelings, your thoughts but you can control your action. In this case, the action of not acting on your thoughts.
