I only use a windows laptop and the only filter I use is plucky. In my opinion it is massively much better than any other filter out there, in terms of all the different things you can do with it, the different configurations you can have and how difficult it is to bypass.

But it's more of a filter that's used to restrict yourself, rather than a parental control filter.

 

The most important thing to pay attention when using a porn filter. Does it block all access to proxy sites and applications? Because once proxy server is accessed it is possible to visit any blocked site.

Proxy can include the tor browser, onion network, chrome/Firefox proxy add-ons and proxy websites.

Also some porn blockers will fail to block on lesser known internet browsers.

Also do not give admin account to your children. Too many things are possible to disable porn blockers if they know the Windows Admin password. Even if the porn blocker has separate password.
