This video helped inspire me to try and quit my porn addiction, and I'd imagine that it would help people who have already started trying to quit even more!!! If you've had a desensitized, objectified view of women that you've developed from your porn addiction (like I have,) this will especially offer some assistance.

If any of you have roughly 1 hour to kill, This video is of an EX Porn Star talking about her life --- her neglected childhood and how it led her into the industry. She found religion to help her out of it (you don't necessarily need to subscribe to her faith in Christianity) but she also talks about how brutal the industry is to the people who participate in its production.

After watching this video, I realized that Pornography addiction wasn't just the epidemic --- Pornography itself is.

I know that one thing this Pornography and Masturbation addiction can do to you is desensitize you, and I know I was pretty sensitized after watching this video. I cried tears I didn't know I had. It is very insightful and hopefully inspires you and helps you to kick your addiction, at least in some reinforcing way. It may not be the cure to your disease but maybe it will give you more motivation!

Stay strong all! Don't give up.
    All the best, John

ALSO: She's got some conservative views on things like Abortion and Parenting --- I did not post this video because of those elements, I posted it for commentary on the dangers of the Adult industry. I DID NOT post this to change anyone's minds on political matters, I'm simply trying to give you all some insight on what Porn is like On the other side of the screen. It's not good for the actors, either...

  3. I liked it, it was interesting to hear the other side of the story. Sometimes when viewing gets so heavy, guys can become attached to the actresses like they're goddesses or something and not humans suffering from these problems.

She does get preachy, but this is at a church I think so that makes sense. I'm not very religious, and wasn't raised Christian so that does get a little much at time, but I can see that it's just how she got through her own life problem.

Yeah, I'm glad you recognized that. Again, I wasn't advocating any religion she happens to have, I was just trying to show you guys how brutal it is for people on the other side. Porn in itself is just sooo detrimental.

Nice job on going three days, bro! Keep it up, wishing you the best!

  5. Thank you. Stories like this are some of the best wake up calls: "They're lying to you." They're real people with real problems and deserve better than to be watched having sex. Jason Evert says that to defeat porn, we have to love the pornstars. Actually love them, want their well being, and not use them in porn. Porn is ultimately a distortion of the beauty of women.
