No. You didn't MO to it. Just seeing an image or even being attracted to it isn't relapsing. I have to advertise on Instagram and my feed is like softcore porn every day, but I don;t gawk and MO to the pics. If you saw this girl dancing and rubbed one out while watching THAT would be relapsing

Not a relapse and stay away from TikTok for a while, too many triggers there.

Not a relapse, not a reset. But I gotta question your wisdom, watching TikTok in the first place. This is a place where you're going to see stuff like that, and you know you're going to see stuff like that, even if you don't search for it... so are you hoping to see it but you'll have an excuse? What value does TikTok add to your life, anyway?

Tiktok does not value to my life... I work in creative industry, i must track trends and social media is the best place fo my career... Somehow from what you saying, to be honest i haven't watch porn or masturbate for years... All these scared of relapse gotta be stem from my GAD general anxiety disorder.... And i could not get a girlfriend, despite being alone it making 10 times worsening... Perhaps i expected to see stuffs like that even though i didn't purposely search it, because i just accepted the truth that I'm gonna see everywhere anyways, and it would impact on my anxiety, the best i could do is to just ignore and face those triggered... It's just still better than an actual porn... Somehow you think it's a relapse since i just described my intentions?

Engaging with random TikTok videos, especially ones that unintentionally trigger you, begs the question: Why indulge in it? Is this a subconscious effort to find a false substitute for the stimulation once derived from pornography? Let's call it what it really is – desensitization. That's why there's a constant search for new stimulation. It's time to stop fooling yourself. Reflect on why you're unconsciously drawn to TikTok. It's critical to understand that TikTok or any similar distraction is not a healthy substitute for porn stimulation. When you seek these alternatives, it reinforces to your subconscious that quitting porn is a loss, a sacrifice. But in reality, you don’t need a substitute for porn. Seeking one only perpetuates this misguided belief.Think about it. Why would anyone waste time on nonsensical TikTok content? It's often because they lack more exciting, meaningful activities in their lives. This is a classic sign of what porn addiction does to your brain. It desensitizes you to the point where other activities lose their appeal, making it difficult to find passion in life. By choosing to rid yourself of this harmful influence, you're taking a significant step.Remember, overcoming porn addiction isn’t about finding a replacement; it’s about reorienting your life towards healthier, more rewarding pursuits. You're on the right path by recognizing and questioning these triggers. Stay committed to this journey of rediscovery, where you can find genuine excitement and passion in the real world, far away from the shallow allure of TikTok and porn.

It’s still not a reset or relapse.

  8. This sounds a lot like scrupulosity.

I'm in total agreement with @Meshuga on this one. If you have an addiction to porn, you shouldn't be watching those videos, especially on social media, and most importantly TikTok and Instagram! I know you said this has something to do with your job, but if a bartender is an alcoholic, how smart would it be for him to keep working as a bartender? No, that would be a very unwise decision. If you truly cannot keep your job without browsing social media videos like the one you brought up in this thread, I would say the best thing to do is to find a different job where that isn't a requirement. If you do keep your job and keep browsing those videos, in my opinion, expect a relapse sooner or later.
