I have mentioned youtube in some of my posts on the forums but I think it needs its own thread .
All my relapses had been caused because of me going to YouTube to watch basically p subs for me it's twerking videos or asmr , and obcourse the ones with the hot girls.
I realized that I spend hours on YouTube looking up self help stuff, comedy , ghost stories , basically everything.
Since my relapses have something to do with youtube and YouTube does have triggering stuff for people that don't know. I realize I need a break from youtube but I don't know how to do this . Any suggestions and tips would be greaty appreciated

treat YouTube like it's real porn instead of calling it a p-sub. Do the same things for YouTube that you do for Porn sites. Block it. Don't let yourself go on it at all. When you do go on it, treat it as a "relapse" and reset your counter. As the old saying goes, "it's easier to do something 100% than 99%". If you're going to quit porn, quit it completely and don't give yourself the excuse of p-subs.

Just go watch anime or something, or if you want to get active go and get a gym membership and go on bodybuilding.com and get a beginner's plan to get started

P sub are the gateway.. At least for me. P sub will leading to edging in 2-3 days and the amazing way my brain gets overrun by p.. I won't fight it.. I will think that I am doing the right thing till I go on a spiral of reckless edging till I do nothing pretty much all day... True bottom.. Then the remorse and no pm pledge will follow.. I am trying to learn to be smart to know that p sub will lead to pm..like Sunday leading into Monday!!!. I think that is the problem with addiction.. We become morons at some level and ignore cause and effect relationship and repeat the same thing and expect different results!!!
Stay strong and nip it in the bud..

OP I have the same problem. I never had a real addiction to porn or pmo. I just became addicted to fapping at girls dancing, twerking and teasing. I unfollowed and unsubscribed to all of these negative forces. Something that you (and anyone else on NoFap should do) is meditate. Breath in and breath out. Keep doing this until your boner subsides. Trust me, beginning day 6 all I think about is busting a nut to one of those sexy videos. However, the cons outweigh the pros by a lot. As a result, I meditate in order to eliminate the urge, craving, temptation and feeling.

    Just use it wisely.

It's not YouTube's fault you watch porn on there. Turn on restricted mode if you cannot control your senses. Blocking it isn't addressing the roots of your problem but it may be necessary until you do address the roots of your issue.

Nice to hear! YouTube is a preferred source of softcore P when I relapse (hopefully this doesn't happen anymore) and one time after several months clean a friggin' Benny Benassi music video set off a slow demise over the course of the coming months which led to years of PMO hell.

YouTube can be dangerous man there is lots of stuff that can make you relapse like asmr which led to my downfall a number of times not to mention twerking videos. I guess we need to have a purpose when using YouTube not just mindlessly watching videos because that could lead to something that triggers us if we are not careful

For me Youtube, next to P, is the most addictive thing on the internet. To be honest, I have more problems kicking the youtube habit than the P habit. 80 to 90% of the time I spent on Youtube was probably waster time. I have blocked youtube on my pc with K9 finally and only use it on my phone now. Youtube can be a great source for information but also a dangerous addiction. You should learn to use it only when you need it.
