You are overthinking, people do that all the time. This is why its great to have someone you can talk to without judgement helps allot.

Technically there is nothing wrong with asking someone to have sex and them saying no. There is nothing wrong with trying to have sex and them saying no. As long as no, makes it stop and there is no physical force used to force.
