To have been born before the boom of the internet, would you have? I absolutely would have. If I could choose I would pick the 1970 to be born into. Porn wouldn't haven't been big until I'd be around 35ish, so I am sure at that point I wouldn't have been easily fooled into it. Being a young vulnerable guy in my early teens when the AOL pic trading started, the dirty mags the VHS collection, then the friggi DVDs, then free site full video downloads, then more free sites with free streaming... Unreal. The point of the is, I thing because porn wouldn't have been around like this, I would have excelled higher in life, wouldn't have been sexually messed up and found a wife, instead of 10 girlfriends, 1 for every 2 years or less. Id be more stable. I wouldn't have mental issues or sleep issues. I would not know what depression is or feels like. My parents have no reason to complain. They never had the porn beast stealing their lives from them. It's crazy. Anyways it's 3:24am and Ive had thoughts of wanting to pmo to try to put myself to sleep, but instead I'm goona try to help myself with this forum tonight. Anyone out there also doing the same, I wish you the best in this horrid battle we face daily.
Thinking about 'what ifs' is sweet and all, but we're living our lives now. We can't predict what other stuff would have happened to us. Still, from our perspective, it's sometimes funny to hear older people bragging how hard their lives were. I wish you all the strength to defeat this addiction!
Are you kidding? If being born in the 70’s would have kept people from sex addiction you wouldn’t have the 40+ journal full of addicts. Lol instead you might have been addicted for 40 years before you knew it could be an addiction, like my husband. He was born 1968. His dad ( we later figured out) was a sex addict. He was born in 1930 died without ever realizing he was an addict . So…..

I was born early 80's. Dad had P material everywhere in the house. I began viewing at about 11 years old. He also watched a lot of movies with sexual content. I guess I started viewing it online about 2002. I didn't realize I was addicted until I was about 30 years old. It was when I tried to stop and couldn't that I realized I was addicted.
