I want to quit this habit for real

I don't know when exactly I started fapping. But I am pretty sure that I started it somewhat after August 2010 (age 11). That's because one of my childhood friend moved to our neighborhood that year and he introduced me to fapping.

I don't blame him coz porn is literally everywhere. Every social media app you will open you will see hot models, nudes & soft porn which leads to a fap session. I have quit facebook, insta for almost two years and I never installed tiktok & snapchat. I occasionally use some social media apps but with Thumbnails / Images disabled using dns settings / filters so that I don't accidentally bump into a NSFW post. Mostly I am active on mastodon and github

So, I have been a fap addict for almost 13 yrs (age 24 now). I am a bright, intelligent and have a sharp (clever) mind. I never faced any problems understanding a difficult topic from maths, science or any other subject. Thanks to Allah Almighty for blessing me with these abilities. I have got good grades almost in every class. Recently, a Gold medal in my Bachelors. Man, so many look up to me as an inspiration but they don't know this dark side of me and I want to change this. I am sometimes lazy may be that's due to this addiction? I procrastinate a lot as well.

I am kind and humble. I teach people programming for free especially to unprivileged so that they can break free from poverty cycle they are stuck in.

Not sure since when I actively started fighting porn but I started to record my nofap streaks since April 2020 and here are some stats:

Longest Streak : 19 Days Dec 2022 - Jan 2023 ( new year resolution lol)
Number of double digit (>10 days) streaks : 8

Total Clean days yearly:
2020 = 155 days
2021 = 108 days
2022 = 162 days
2023 = 127 days (continued..)


Current Streak : 9 Days.
