    Hi
by looking at myself and other guys just seeing that we go on a streak and we fail and It's on and on made me think that it's like a cycle because all the time after relapsing we return at the first place.but i have an idea to stop the cycle :
as you want to stop a cycle you should remove the aspects participating in it and the aspects are:
    1. your dick  and your sex drive
    2. porn
    3. dreaming about sex
so when you want to remove these things(actually you can't remove your dick :D however) so you can remove porn and dreaming about sex because their all useless and you will never get to reality so NEVER WATCH PORN,NEVER DREAM ABOUT SEX that's all. Ive removed porn and dreaming about sex for 13 days and I've been successful with that.
and don't forget to stay strong.

Yes fantasizing and day dreaming is a big set back. For most people it's a trigger itself and at the same time it will constantly keep the thought of masturbation and porn on our minds and do we end up giving up.

Once people stop fantasizing and day dreaming about sexual acts then they will feel like they have much more control.

However, stopping the fantasizing and day dreaming is pretty hard, as it's so easy to do.

It is a lot like a cycle. I've noticed that my pmo increases a ton before stressful events and then goes back to average pmo usage. So when trying to quit my daydreaming increases as stressful situations are about to come up. The challenge is learning to cope w those situations without relapsing
Keep it up guys, you are right where I am w sobriety! Everyday without slipping feels like a victory because some days is an all day battle.

I think stress is like monster that you're in a battle with.know this my friend :

you can never win the fight against this monster so all the time try to run away from it,ignore it then you can see that you're not losing the battle.
    good luck

hmmm... In my opinion, I think that we should find ways to keep busy. Be it at work or at home or outside. Its really a cycle of daydreaming/fantasizing and then the stress of the urges and then fighting it. The fantasies really hit us when we're off guard and when we least expect it. I agree that there are days that the battle is takes a whole day. When that happens, I think of the benefits of nofap and how far I've come. I also say to myself that I won't let a moment of giving in destroy how far I've come.

It's difficult, really. Each one of us has to find that good combo of defense/offense against PMO. Fight on!

Today was a tough day for me... It was a busy day but I also had a few opportunities that I would have normally pmo in those situations... I tried to think about how it wouldn't be worth it. Even with trying to have positive thoughts the desire is still there for me. It might be a bit of a chaser effect I had sex w my wife yesterday. I'm hoping the cravings go down the next few days.
