I need help

Hi,

I joined this forum and another one like it to get some help in eradicating porn from my life and to better understand and heal the underlying wounds and issues, and the resulting triggers.

I am 40 years old, married for 17, after 1.5 years of dating and it's the only romantic/sexual relationship I have ever had in my life (with another person). It has been negatively affected by my porn use, as well as (or perhaps even more) by what underlies it. I desperately need to improve my relationship with my wife, sexually and in many other areas. I love her and she loves me and yet I have hurt her many times and in many ways.

I have used porn for most of my life. There have been many times when I tried to stop, with varying periods of non-use. About a year ago, I found out about yourbrainonporn, and got more serious about stopping. Around that time, I have also gotten more into therapy, meditation and trying to figure out myself better, de-program and heal. However, I still relapse periodically (the last time was a week ago, and the time before was about 6 or 7 weeks before that), so I want to do more, get more help, open myself up, share, etc.
