I believe I can't make any progress in my life without getting rid of this porn habit

    Hello folks,

    I've been trying to get rid of porn for years, I think it's been around 5 years I'm trying on and off. Sometimes I'd take it seriously, and at other times I'd just give in like I'm doing now; nevertheless the guilt of it is always there and I think its stopping me from making progresses in my life.

    For me this is quite a spiritual deal, and with porn in my life I always feel like a hypocrite. I feel like I'm sapped of energy because of it and that energy and strength would come back to be creative, ambitious, and most importantly kind if I manage to let this porn habit go.

    I'm very new here, and I watched a tedtalk about this and hence I'm here but I don't really know where to start on here much, any recommendations or challenges or programs or advise, anything really I'd appreciate.

    Thank you from a land laden with problems much bigger than porn, but yet I see porn as one of the basic problems everywhere.

    I'm pretty new myself but you've asked for tips and really the only one I can give you is quit masturbating and watching porn. Start right now. Don't wait or say I will do it tomorrow. Also come to this site if you're feeling down or feel like you're going to relapse and watch porn again. It helps me and seeing people with the same problems and overcoming them is great inspiration to me.

    I think you have been far away from porn for long.
    My record is 24 days. And then 12 days.
    Never longer than 30 days.

    Oh I haven't been doing this long at all lol. I'm only 8 days in my second attempt. I joined I think maybe Saturday or Sunday last weekend.

    I have seen all of your message. I thought you have joined in nofap for several months.
    Encourage with each other together. My first tempt is only 12 days. my god.
    Today is Day 1 again.
