I’m gonna stick around.

I have touched the beautiful glow of love and felt it inside of my body. I’ve felt the warmth of having another person understand me. It all happened over a period of time but here I am now in its wake.

It seems all I see in life is reminders, smiling faces walking past me. It just stings me every time, makes my mind start to spiral. I’m a 23 year old man who says to you now that my life is over. My greatest pursuit already slipped away, I am not just sticking around.

Apathy is a fight yet feeling numb is not a better alternative. I shall linger on these emotions and either lose my mind or succumb to the will of the world. My brothers its the least I can do is to stick around. There is so much beauty in such a short experience, even a pleasure just to have the memory.
