Hello all, I wanted to ask you guys what are some ways that I can gain more height quickly. These could either be food and nutrition to have, exercise and stretches to do or even ways to look taller.

    Thanks

Ditch your tall friends and hang around short people.

Eat your wheaties... Seriously though.... WHEATIESSSS

But in all reality, human's have never really determined what "makes us taller" other than two key factors. Genetics and healthy life/exercise. I truly believe (while maybe not proven), that having a healthy life will help us grow to our full potential height.

The other big thing, is fix your posture. I guarantee you have crap back posture unless you were raised in a prep school where they beat you, it is just the nature of our generations. Good posture makes us look, feel, and be more confident and also not hunched over (aka, taller)

Check out the website naturalheightgrowth.com. Lot of heavy research (and I mean pouring through medical journals heavy) by Michael and Tyler on potential factors for growth. Not sure if it will help that much but it's the best site left at this point.

Hey man, if you are 18 or older chances are you aren't going to grow much taller if any at all than you are now.Don't worry about it though, because height has a whole lot to do with nothing.

I'm 6'6. Bare with me. While my height helps me attract women and stick out to them, some of my most successful friends with women are short guys. It is more about what is inside to them than your appearance. You just gotta rock that shit, and girls will love you for it. Height is an overrated element of appearance for guys, and trust me because I absolutely don't have that problem. Sure it has made it a little more effortless, but it isn't like I don't have to employ confidence, charisma, and charm just like every other guy does too. It is just a small hurdle that you can easily overcome.

Yeah, girls will say they are attracted to tall guys but charisma wins every time. That being said, I'm 5'9" and I wouldn't mind being a little taller. Doesn't really matter to me because I'm married but after reading your post I looked up height boosting insoles for shoes. Those things look pretty good. You can easily add 2 inches to your hight. Hell, if women can do it with their shoes I don't see why you couldn't.

I would recommend increasing your hight by 1\2 inch at a time over a long period of time or it will be pretty obvious.

You can get taller, but you would need a medieval torture device.

Definitely eat a lot of protein. Eat one gram of protein for every pound you weigh, do it every day. There is no guarantee that you will grow by eating protein, but I can guarantee you will not grow unless your body is taking in protein. Protein is mostly used to gain muscle mass, but my daughter used it to grow taller. Before she started her diet sucked, mostly vegetarian foods with minimal protein. She started drinking Ensure and grew 3 inches. I'm not a big fan of Ensure, I would buy protein powder at GNC. Good luck.

I wouldn't buy anything from GNC to be honest. To much negative things about them and questions into their ethics and products.

It all has to do with genetics and to some extent, hormones. Not a lot of people know this about me, but when I was in my early preteens, my growth kinda flattened out way too early. Everyone else in my age group at school kept growing taller and taller while I was basically staying the same height at around 4'5" - 4'7". I went through a whole bunch of tests and found out that for whatever reason, I was growth hormone deficient. My pituitary gland was not producing enough of the hormone that causes growth, and so for like 3-4 years, almost all of highschool, I had to take a daily supplement, in the form of an injection, like a small insulin needle. About a year to a year and a half into the process, the specialist I was seeing told me that I was still not catching back up to where I should be, and I needed to start taking a 2nd injection once a month (a bigger one o_o ). What I found out was that once you have finished going through puberty, your bones fuse and you stop growing. Period. So the 2nd injection I was taking was actually meant to delay my puberty.

So basically what I'm saying is, you're not going to get any taller. There's nothing you can eat, no secret exercise, and I mean I gueesss better posture makes you physically appear taller, but you are not technically increasing your height. After everything I went through, I ended up finishing up at 5'7". Still pretty short, but at least I fit into the average. And for a long time, I still felt like I was really short, shorter than everyone else. But I've learned to be happy with how tall I am, and honestly, I don't really feel short anymore. If you want to be taller, you have to be taller on the inside. Be happy with who you are, be proud.
