Same problem here. I found an App I can play soothing rain all night long. It helps me fall asleep and stay asleep. I don't wake up as often.
rain or fan sounds work good. Try to keep your room temp to your liking. Me i like cold. Get your mind and body tired. A light work out and read a little bit. DO NOT USE YOUR PHONE. Keep it far away from you. Do a few deep breaths and think about happy things. Use creative visualization about your new life. If you look through your closed eyelids-weird away to put it hope that makes sense- and stare up at your 3rd eye region between your eyebrows you will have lucid dreams. They start with flashing shapes than images in front of your eyes then you have control of your dreams. Sleep tight tonight
Chamomile tea is herbal and has no caffeine to the OP another thing that helps is don’t lay in bed at all until it’s time to sleep. Don’t lay in bed mid day etc just to relax
