How our parents talk to us: perhaps a contributing factor to men's PMO

Just read this article in NYTimes, and I started thinking about how men's socialization and identity might contribute to the particularly male side of PMO. Or the reverse: one could think about how society's norms for women contribute to the female side. Just for reflection and conversation--
