So I find I’m generally only able to have sex if I use via gra, because of pied, the thing is I feel I must be part way there with recovering if I’m getting enough of an arousal response for that to work in the first place. But even sometimes the via gra doesn’t work if I have binged on porn. What’s people’s experience here? I hate letting my gf down

  2. Get off PMO and stop becoming dependent on via gra. It’s not worth it in the long run.

I know, that’s what I’m trying to do, I was asking how much of a difference it actually makes because sometimes it doesn’t work even when on it

  4. It makes quite a difference, I was always able to rely on it. Even just a quarter of a pill did the trick. Take it at least 30 mins prior to sex and cut out the PMO completely. If it ain’t working, you are most likely stuck in your head or having intense performance anxiety which is totally normal after having a few non-performing episodes. It is the worst feeling I suffered it many times and became reliant on blue pill until I just gave up trying to get laid all together and doubled down on porn. the blue pill is a good assistant tool to use to help you, but you can’t have best of both worlds - only use it if you are off PMO completely and eventually try to go without the pill when you are feeling more comfortable with your gf and the situation. But definitely don’t get reliant on it like I did. every time you watch porn, remember that its porn that did this to you. Every time you go soft with your gf, remember that porn is the cause and you need to cut it out completely. It’s like getting lung cancer and still continuing to smoke. Cheers All the best!

Thanks mate for that, yes I’m falling into the trap of becoming reliant on it, one time I felt confident without it but failed. Also it is bad in that it makes you believe you can do both porn and get away with it thanks to the blue pill. I’m trying my best to do pmo when not with my gf, thank you

Hi @BCranjis, I had PIED for most of my adult life, and still now intermittently use meds to help with erections. The reason for the PIED... I got so entangled with using niche p**n for my orgasms that my body and mind were lost and unable to recognise the sensation of what the real sexual experience felt like.

However what i have noticed on multiple occasions is that if you can cut the P habit, seek out meditation, maybe even therapy, get back in touch with what is real (i.e love and healthy sexual practices) the erections do come back :emoji_muscle::emoji_raised_hands:

The longer you go, the more positive work you put in, the more the PIED will fade away

Thank you, what sort of time frames did you see improvements?

Well over the past year, despite still having issues with attraction to my partner, somehow my body has found it's natural programming again. It's hard to put a time frame exactly, but like so many posts on here say, 3+ months you'll start to notice positive changes. However it does also depend on how you intend to rewire and change your mindset as well - time alone may not be the key factor

    Hope this helps!

Do some research on vitamins that help libido people become dependant on blueies. Block porn on your devices , build it up for a week or 2 and do some training get your natural testosterone back. And you’ll be smashing it

Thanks I’ll look more, I’ve started creatine that past week and I wonder if that’s had an effect, as the bluies aren’t even working since I started taking it. I do weights and cycling as it is, so physically I’m very fit, just the brain that’s wrecked from porn. I’m now able to get an erection, just maintaining it is the problem, at least 1 step in the right direction
