    Yes.....you build them up in your mind, and then when you actually do them they aren't what you hoped for. That doesn't mean it isn't still good or great, but Porn builds unrealistic expectations.

    I've lived them out before on only a few occasions and although it was enjoyable, I just couldn't do much with it. Sure, I wanted to do it more than anything, but when it was all said and done, I barely got turned on. Of course, that could be a side effect of the porn addiction since I already have issues getting aroused... but I doubt the fetish is that enjoyable without a severe addiction anyways. So yes, I would say it is mostly fantasy.

    For me, the fetish loses its allure after I masturbate. Which tells me that it is purely a sexual connection I’m craving and the fetish is my mind’s path to orgasm. It is odd. Fetishes can be extremely odd / difficult to understand. The underlying issue is sexual in nature. For me, it’s the wearing of adult diapers. I have tried wearing them longer term but I get no excitement from it. I mostly only wear one or two and then after I masturbate I throw the rest of the package away because that sexual urge is gone and I feel disgusting.
