How I would describe the recovery process after 500+ days

It's like slowly boiling a frog in a cooker.
They say that if you throw a frog in hot water he will jump out.
But if you put him in cold water and slowly raise the heat, he is not even aware of the temperature rise.
    How does this make sense?

The recovery process is similar to that.
Its very slow and subtle. You may not even notice a difference day-by-day.
You don't wake up one day and feel on top of the world.
You don't wake up and all your symptoms are gone.
But you catch yourself thinking about how you were 3 months ago.. 6 months ago.. 1 year ago!
And then you realize how many things have changed.
It's easier if you keep a journal.

So don't get discouraged if your life doesn't magically turn into perfect overnight!

I kind of think of it like lifting weights. When you first start lifting you can gain muscle super fast and easy, it just piles on. But it takes longer and longer to gain mass the bigger you get. I feel like after 90 days of NoFap, you get a lot of progress. The surface problems of porn are gone, but those deep seated addiction problems take a lot longer to go away.

  3. Anyone noticed the feeling of not doing anythig, that right now you feel that you should do more, but if you think, you realise how many things happened in for example last 6 months?
