how i landed here

    hey guys..

    first of all hello to everybody..

    this is my very first post here in the nofap community and i just want to let you know how i "landed" here;)

    today i watched a video about penis size.this video was made by a girl, who said many men get problems with their penis size, because they watch porn (where you actually see well-sized penises) and think their penis is small..when you think your penis is small, you feel bad!you lose your selfconfidence..

    this video led me to watch a video about porn addiction and which impacts it has on your social life and your brain. i learned that, when you watch porn, you think you have real sex ..and that makes you feel good..you kind of get high when you watch it..it's like a drug.

    to be brief: i decided to try to get rid of watching porn. i want to see what changes in my life, if i stop to wank..

    i don't know how long i can last, and if this abstain has positive effects on me and my life in general..but this will be day #1...let's see how long i can stay clean

    @qichunhong: why should I watch terrible pictures and feel bad?
    I just try not to watch porn..this is day 3 where I haven't visited a porn site..didn't wank or orgasm..feels okay..nothing special till now^^

    In 12 days I will have 6months no PMO..the longest I've went without this drug you speak of, and I agree, it is in fact a drug. But there's hope. Think of life where you literally can control your penis, not the other way around. More importantly think of life where Lust does not control you. It's possible. I'm living it. Dude..this is the fact of the matter..you will stop once the pain of failure gets great enough. That's how us humans operate. And you have 72 hours of drug-less behavior which means you now have something to lose. My suggestion is stay connected to this community by participating in the forums (as you are) get an accountability partner, and connect to a Power greater than urself for help.

    why is the contect i want to post not allowed?? i just wanted to thank you for your advice neverquit88...i don't watch porn and don't masturbate and hope this helps me to improve in life
