How do you deal with blue balls?

    Blue balls is caused by the pooling of blood in the testicular region upon arousal. I have two suggestions:

    1) Ice your balls by placing an ice pack over your pants (or if you're bold, direct application is even better). As the temperature decreases, blood vessels constrict, so blood flow decreases. Therefore, the blood that's pooled in your balls will dissipate.

    2) Perform heavy deadlifts. When you lift heavy objects, the pressure inside your pelvis/abdomen increases, so blood flow to your testicles will decrease.

    Good luck, and remember "pain is weakness leaving your body." So, you can either bitch about it or embrace it. Are you a child, or are you a warrior? The choice is yours.

    "no pain... No gain" and all that, I dig it... Just got a bit much yesterday, didn't know what to do... and it was preventing me from sleeping.

    Well, not looking forward to icing my bollocks, but I will give it a try. I'm not one for weight training, I do have weights, but they have been sitting in the attic for years... So ice pack it is then. Thank you Les.

  5. I recommend the ice pack method. I wouldn't worry too much about blue balls because you only seem to get them if you edge (which you should not do).

    I wasn't edging.... it was gradually building up over a couple of days. I had been rather good up untill that point.... i just don't like to see my plums in pain lol

    Ice/painkillers can help. But mostly just suffer through it.

    I recommend the ice method myself, it's what I've always used. I recommend one of those bags/pads that can be froze or heated in microwave. Here are some other methods to try also (I realize some have already been previously mentioned. )
    • Exercise: Get in some cardio and get your blood flowing away from your balls.
    • A cold compress: The cold compress mimics nonadrenaline (the hormone released after orgasm that relieves blue balls). It constricts the blood vessels, limiting any additional blood flow to the genitals.
    • Lift a heavy object: It may seem bizarre but a new study shows that lifting a heavy object can actually cause something called the Valsalva Maneuver (google it) . The Valsalva Maneuver is essentially that feeling in your lower abdominal muscles when you lift weights, and performing it causes a change in blood pressure, relieving some of the blood pressure in your genitals.
    • Time: We know. Waiting sucks. But blue balls will typically go away in about an hour, without causing any damage to the family jewels.
    I would also like to point out that you can get the "Blues" without edging. Sometimes you just get excited for prolonged periods of time, (especially if you have orgasmed regularly for awhile, it seems too easy to get worked up) I have just joined and I have not had that problem in awhile, but I expect to in the near future and plan to try the Valsalva Maneuver myself. So since I'm new you may take my advice however you like, I'm just tossing ya my 2 cents from my 33yrs of life, and was affected by that same problem many many multiple times during it. Sorry I wrote so much I guess I got a lil carried away. I hope you never have to experience them anymore, but if your unfortunate enough to have them again then I wish you Good luck & hope some of my rambling is helpful.

    Your rambling is as valid as anyone elses... And very much appreciated! Christ, I do enough of that myself... Pretty new here myself!

    I've never really been one for exercise. The last 10/12 years I haven't had to, my work is pretty labour intensive.. except, I'm not working just now... Something I need to remedy.

    I have a couple of those heat/cool pads... I have already considered freezing them for times of need, I shall have to look them out..

    No worries man, I appreciate the benefit of your experiences as anyone elses... And the fact that you took the time to reply... You write as much as you want! No need to apologise... And if (or when, rather) they return, I am better equipped...


    ....just don't like my conkers being in pain! Despite what they have done to me over the years lol

    Punch your balls really hard. And maybe use a cheese grater against it. You will have something else to focus on. Just kidding. But, yeah, just exercise, and ride it out like @TheSumOfAllBeers said. Good luck. I have blue balls right now as I am speaking.

    Right... A swift kick to the knackers followed by the old cheese grater manoeuvre... Gotcha! lol

    Sucks man... There's been a few surprises since this started... And I can't say I liked the achey bollock part at all.. i'll just have to man up and take it.... Just wasn't prepared lol

    I'm not big on exercise either I've researched/read a good bit about The Valsalva Maneuver and If you don't wanna read through the wiki page or google it then this is a short summary of how you perform The Valsalva Maneuver.
    Pinch your nose closed, purse your lips and forcefully exhale through your lips as if you are lifting a very heavy thing.

    Repeat this a few times and you'll see it will get you rid off any pain caused by blue balls. At least that's what I'm reading so far, I'm sure I'll be blue again in the future and plan to try that myself.

    Really it's hard on 10-20 initial days. I always gets blue balls. It hurt alot..I have released so many times in this period. But it's not solution. It is just same cycle of fappFap.
    But now I m overcoming pain....
