Always keep yourself busy, remember the shitty feeling after a relapse, exercise everyday(at least cardio for 20mins),if urges get extreme do 50 push ups and take a cold shower (works in most cases). Remember if you keep relapsing during an urge, never give up. Try harder next time. Have fav quotes for your motivation during hard times. And wishing you for ur successful journey. "The wolf you feed is the wolf that wins" "One step at a time".
Whrite on the floor, cry, remember all my past traumas and then once all that fun stuff passes I just go back to my day or whatever I was doing.
Early days when it was a huge struggle I'd get out of the house and go do something constructive. Walk, ride bike, go grocery shopping, something worthwhile as long as it was out of the house. Now I think of how terrible I'll feel afterwards. And even more important than that is taking care of the problem that caused the urge. Face the urge, think about what's causing it, and handle that cause in a healthy way. It's an important part of kicking this terrible habit. It isn't easy of course but it can be done.
You can't simple as that .You can only distract them with real life activites for a while but as for urge no you can't you need to start getting used to it ..
Dance off the erections. Seriously though, move yourself. Walk, run, exercise, stretch, dance, play an instrument. Distract yourself: Call a friend or family member Do something that takes concentration Get outside Externalize your urge through writing
Co,d showers work for me. I started doing them in the morning on December 1, 2018 and haven't missed a day. It is also an urge killer, I make it as cold as I can for as long as I can. I let the cold water pour over my head and down my body. As it does I try to wash the urges and stress away. Try it!
